Learning to Line Dance!

Thank you to Madison Jackson (our own country dancing expert) for teaching us all how to line dance! Everyone really had a great time with their spouse and as you can see, we have some that really have the moves! The overall favorite was "I play chicken with the Train"

First Years Valentines Party {2.8.2013}

The First Year Committee planned a Valentines Party for first year couples.  The evening was complete with a Bake-off, Foosball Battles, rousing games of "Name that Love Song" and "What's that Candy Bar?" and matching Love Stories to Couples.

  At the end of the evening we crowned the King and Queen of Hearts - the couple with the highest overall points - Josh and Michelle Cook. Congratulations you two!

A special thank you to the single MBA students who provided babysitting!

Foosball!
Now if only I knew what candy is a "Phone Call to Dad"... ("Ring Pop" for those who are curious)
Lacey reading the Love Stories (Do you know who Dear John-ed her husband & was engaged to someone else or who crashed into Robert Redford's sons' car on a date? Just a few of the precious gems we learned that night)

Anne playing the Love Songs - we were pleasured with tunes from Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, and Whitney Houston to name a few.  Quite the eclectic group of musicians if you ask me.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan such a fun evening!

Ugly Sweater and Egg Nog Date Night 9.29.2012

The Service and Fellowship Committees banded together to put on a great date night party that included ugly sweaters and egg nog. Each couple donated canned food for charity as the price of their admittance and enjoyed modeling their sweaters, eating delicious food, and celebrating the holidays together. Thanks to everyone who put this activity together!
