Guru Night 8.21.12
Our first official MBASA activity of the year was a great success and we're glad so many first and second year spouses could make it out to the activity.
The Guru program is designed to welcome new first year spouses into MBASA by pairing them up with second year spouses who can answer questions about the MBA program and help them navigate the MBASA waters. MBASA is filled with many incredible spouses, but we know it can be very intimidating and overwhelming at the start.
Head Guru Jessica Ivins welcomed the new spouses and explained a little about how the guru program works and what MBASA does.
Second year spouses Chelsea Nielsen, Calista Perazzo, Alli Krewson, and AnneMarie Farner shared their experiences and tips for surviving the first year, supporting your spouse through their internship search and what they wished they had known at the beginning of last year.
Coming soon, we'll have a First Year's Survival Guide, full of more information and tips for incoming spouses.
Our next activity will be one that you won't want to miss, the MBASA Opening Social, next Wednesday, August 29, 6:30pm at the Hinckley Alumni Building.
